Daisy's is a cozy café situated just off the cliff tops in Babbacombe, making it a convenient spot for both locals and visitors looking to start their day with a hearty breakfast. The atmosphere is informal and welcoming, with a friendly team that makes an effort to create a "feel at home" environment. It's not a sprawling venue, so expect a bustling, lively vibe during morning hours when the regular crowd drops in for their morning brew and bite.

The café’s breakfast offerings stand out, particularly for those after a substantial and satisfying meal without a hefty price tag. Dishes like the Veggie Breakfast, Poached Eggs, and the classic Sausage Egg & Bacon BAP are popular choices, reflecting straightforward, quality cooking done to order. Portions are generous enough to appeal to those with a good appetite, whether starting a day of exploring the Babbacombe cliffs or settling in for a relaxed weekend morning.

Best times to visit are definitely around breakfast hours, when the kitchen is in full swing and service is quick. The space attracts a mixed crowd – from locals grabbing their regular breakfast to walkers heading out for coastal breezes or families wanting a casual meal in a friendly setting. While there's not much noted about seating outside, the café’s location near the cliff tops offers a chance to combine your food stop with a walk through the fresh, coastal air.

Overall, Daisy’s serves as a bright spot for anyone after an uncomplicated, well-cooked breakfast paired with warm service. It’s well suited to those who value a relaxed, no-fuss café experience with a local touch rather than somewhere designed for long stays or late afternoons.

Good home cooking, large portions and reasonable price and extensive menu.. Not suitable if you have young children with you as no high chairs and no room for pushchairs. So will leave my grandson at home on the next visit!
